This is a chapter from an upcoming book: Sharia Law for Non-Muslims. The book was designed to be short, only 48 pages. In 1953, Princeton University hosted a group of “prominent Muslims” for an “Islamic Colloquium.” Brotherhood delegates asked for and were granted a meeting with President Dwight D. Eisenhower, who agreed on the counsel of his defense and intelligence advisors, who saw it as an opportunity for the U.S. to influence the Muslim world and to use them against the Communists, who were on the ascendancy.

As other European countries consider a ban on Muslim women wearing veils, would the UK consider a similar thing?

A private members bill has already been put forward calling for a ban on face covering and polls suggest most people in the UK want to follow in France’s footsteps.

But Muslim groups in the UK say what France is doing is offensive and fuelling hatred of Muslims.

Canada’s government has introduced a ban on the wearing of veils while swearing the oath of citizenship.

Minister of Citizenship and Immigration Jason Kenney told a news conference in Montreal anyone wanting to become a Canadian would have to show their face.

He said citizenship judges and MPs had complained it could be hard to tell if veiled applicants were actually reciting the oath.

An estimated 940,000 Muslims live in Canada, about 2.8% of the population.

Veils and face coverings are already banned in Quebec for people receiving some government services.

Canada is considering a wider ban on veils in government offices, schools and hospitals.

Mr Kenney dismissed the idea that the ban could infringe the religious freedom of those taking the oath.

“This is not simply a practical measure,” the Conservative minister said on Monday.

“It is a matter of deep principle that goes to the heart of our identity and our values of openness and equality.”

He added that Canadian law took priority over religious doctrine.

“In my view Canadian law takes precedence,” he said.

“This is a public act of witness in front of your fellow citizens, in front of the law and you should be willing to show yourself in that public act of witness. I think it’s very straightforward.”

Mr Kenney also announced further language requirements for new immigrants.

The Islamic veil across Europe 22 September 2011

Countries across Europe have wrestled with the issue of the Muslim veil – in various forms such as the body-covering burka and the niqab, which covers the face apart from the eyes.

The debate takes in religious freedom, female equality, secular traditions and even fears of terrorism.

The veil issue is part of a wider debate about multiculturalism in Europe, as many politicians argue that there needs to be a greater effort to assimilate ethnic and religious minorities.

Love and Hate – A Personal Essay

I am writing this article to share my own personal motivations for opposing islam.  I will discuss some goals that I would like to see achieved and I will also discuss some sentiments that my fellow counter jihad members have voiced that I oppose and an explanation of why.  This article represents my own personal views and is not meant to represent the views of all members of this site or the counter jihad in general.

A common argument that members of the counter jihad face goes something like this: “Why the hell are you opposing islam?!  Islam is the religion of peace and I think you are quite rude and disrespectable for opposing someone else’s religion.  The 1st Amendment guarantees the right for moslems to worship as they please. Why the f**k don’t you just leave islam alone and go be happy leading your life.  Live and let live.”

First let’s dispense with a common 2 part lie that islam is the religion of peace. 1 – Islam is not a religion, it is actually a totalitarian political ideology.  Islam is 60% political which means that islam is a political ideology hiding behind the pious mask of religion.  Islam deserves no 1st Amendment protections for multiple reasons, several of which are eloquently spelled out here: Why Islam is NOT Protected Under the US Constitution! 2 – Islam is not peaceful!  Click on the graphic to go to The Religion Of Peace website which does an excellent job of keeping records of the murders done in the name of allah.

 

I oppose islam out of love.  That’s right!  The basis for my opposition to islam is LOVE.  I love Freedom and Democracy and Human Rights and Liberty.  These are the core principles that form the bedrock of my being.   It is because of my love of these ideals that I hate islam.  Islam is the antithesis of every ideal that I hold dear.  Islam is incompatible with freedom.  If you doubt this, just look at this picture from the Netherlands:

Islam is incompatible with Democracy.  Democracy in the islamic world is like toilet paper – they wipe their asses on it and then flush it down the toilet!  

  

The concept of Liberty is not any part of islam. The fundamental core concept of islam is slavery. Infidels are slaves to moslems, women are slaves to men, and men are slaves to allah. The rights of self determination and the pursuit of happiness have no place in islam. In Arabic, islam does not mean peace, islam means submission. I will NEVER submit to islam!

In my heart I am a man of peace.  I am carrying a message of love for Western Civilization.  My disdain for islam is a direct result of my love for the ideals of Freedom, Democracy, Human Rights, and Liberty.  Western Civilization is not just different than islamic civilization, it’s vastly superior! Libya is happy to be rid of Gadhafi, hate to tell U.S. Secretary Clinton but Islamic Sharia law would be the “basic source” of legislation now.

Hillary Clinton, who is on a two-day visit to Pakistan, was in Tripoli earlier this week to pledge £7 million in aid to Libya.

— Libya’s transitional leader declared his country’s liberation on Sunday, three days after the hated dictatorMoammar Gadhafi was captured and killed.

Reacting to the news of Gaddafi’s death, the United States Secretary of State said: “The death of Colonel Gaddafi has brought to a close a very unfortunate chapter in Libya’s history. But it also marks the start of a new era for the Libyan people, and it is our hope that what I saw in Tripoli on Tuesday first hand, the eagerness of Libyans to building a new democracy, can begin in earnest.”

He called on Libyans to show “patience, honesty and tolerance” and eschew hatred as they embark on rebuilding the country at the end of an 8-month civil war.

The transitional government leader Mustafa Abdul-Jalil set out a vision for the post-Gadhafi future with an Islamist tint, saying thatIslamic Sharia law would be the “basic source” of legislation in the country and that existing laws that contradict the teachings of Islam would be nullified. In a gesture that showed his own piety, he urged Libyans not to express their joy by firing in the air, but rather to chant “Allahu Akbar,” or God is Great. He then stepped aside and knelt to offer a brief prayer of thanks.

How to speak sharia

LITERALLY the “path” or “path to water”, sharia is a catch-all term for Islamic codes covering everything from social mores to crime. Based on the Koran and the sayings attributed to Muhammad, as well as the work of ulema (Muslim scholars), it is clear and strict in some matters (such as family law) and fluid and evolutionary in others (such as commerce). It comprises five main schools of interpretation (four Sunni and one Shia). In Muslim lands sharia courts are overseen by a kadi (judge) who will have studied both fiqh(legal interpretation) and how to apply qiyas (analogy).

Fiqh classifies behaviour into one of five categories: fard (mandatory), mustahabb(advisable), mubah (neutral), makruh (inadvisable), and haraam (prohibited). Huddudrefers to the corporal and capital punishments that are laid down in traditional Islamic law for certain offences, including death by stoning for adultery. However, fatwa (ruling or opinion), contrary to popular opinion in the West, refers to theological, not legal, pronouncements in which one or more scholars opine on some pressing issue (the subjects of recent fatwas have ranged from questions of personal hygiene to the ethics of suicide-bombing).

“This revolution was looked after by God to achieve victory,” he told the crowd at the declaration ceremony in the eastern city of Benghazi, the birthplace of the uprising against Gadhafi began. He thanked those who fell in the fight against Gadhafi’s forces. “This revolution began peacefully to demand the minimum of legitimate rights, but it was met by excessive violence.”

Abdul-Jalil said new banks would be set up to follow the Islamic banking system, which bans charging interest. For the time being, he said interest would be canceled from any personal loans already taken out less than 10,000 Libyan dinars (about $7,500).

He also announced that all military personnel and civilians who have taken part in the fight against Gadhafi would be promoted to the rank above their existing one. He said a package of perks would later be announced for all fighters.
