Judge allows KKK suit against Missouri to proceed

A federal judge in St. Louis has rejected a state request to dismiss the lawsuit filed by a Ku Klux Klan group.
Frank Ancona, imperial wizard of the Traditionalist American Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, is seeking to rent a pavilion at the Fort Davidson Historic Site in southeast Missouri.

The group filed a lawsuit as it sought to use the site for an April 14 gathering. The KKK group was unable to meet the insurance requirements imposed by the Department of Natural Resources and held the picnic on private property.

'Don't Tread On Me' Almost As Symbolic As The Flag Of The USA

I know and understand it is going to take a whole lot more then waving this flag for things to really be done and I also wanted to mention that I put this up   I guess in comparison of how all the illegals are coming to the united states and the government hasn’t really done anything about it and I suppose that flying this flag is one way they are seeing an impact of real battle fought.

The words from Gadsden's flag are some of the most patriotic words to this country as the  founding of the United States of America, as the flag of the United States, now it seems it is offending some people across the country.

Why is that, because the 'Tea Party' showing that they are fed up and feel violated?  Or is it due to the treatment/mis-treatment by Elected officials in the US Government, who just won't or don't listen?  I know, maybe because of the way US citizens are made to feel second class and like criminals in their own country?

Let's hope the ACLU is willing to represent all that decide to fly this flag and are saying 'No More' and 'We're not going to take it anymore'

 
An Arizona man is in trouble with his homeowners' association over flying the Gadsden flag, which features a coiled rattlesnake and the words "Don't Tread on Me." The flag has been adopted by members of the tea party movement for its association with the American Revolution,
Arizona has a state statute that allows Arizonans to fly "the Stars and Stripes, the state flag, flags representing Indian nations as well as the official flags of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard," the Times reports.'Andy' McDonel's homeowners' association is strictly interpreting that law to ban the flying of any other flags, including the Gadsden. The American Civil Liberties Union is defending McDonel, saying the homeowners' group is taking too strict a view of the statute and restricting McDonel's right to free speech.McDonel isn't the only person to run into a dispute over the historic flag.
Eric Smith of Thornton, Colo., said he and his neighbor were sent a letter by their homeowners' association that said "Tea Party flags are not permitted. Please Remove."  They were threatened with a $100-a-month fine for flying the Gadsden flag. Colorado has a statue similar to Arizona's that specifies which flags are allowed to be flown. The homeowners' association eventually reversed its demand, saying his flag fell into the category of "political signs" instead of flags and was thus allowed.
In March, House Republicans created a stir amid the hard-fought vote on health care reform by grabbing a Gadsden flag from the anti-reform crowd assembled outside the Capitol and brandishing it from within the building.

Fake Hate Crimes: An Islamist Weapon

Over the recent Fourth of July weekend, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR ^[1]) interviewed ^[2] attendees of the 47th annual Islamic Society of North America (ISNA ^[3]) convention about their experiences in dealing with “Islamophobia.” Shortly afterwards, on July 6, CAIR called on the FBI to investigate an act of arson ^[4] at a Georgia mosque, saying that hate crimes were increasing because of a “vocal minority in our society promoting anti-Muslim bigotry.” The Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA ^[5]) referred ^[6] to it as one of the “incidents of Islamophobia [that] are on the rise in this country.” However, police later arrested ^[7] a Muslim suspect.
As Daniel Pipes has documented ^[8] for years ^[9], Islamist organizations in the West are quick to label crimes as anti-Muslim hate crimes as part of their effort to make Muslims feel under attack ^[10] and to paint themselves as Muslims’ protectors. For example, immediately following the Fort Hood shooting ^[11], CAIR asked ^[12] Muslims to respond by donating to it. “We need financial help to meet these crises and push back against those who seek to score political points off the Muslim community in the wake of the Fort Hood tragedy,” the fundraising pitch read. To no one’s surprise, an anti-Muslim backlash did not ensue ^[13].
Cutting through the propaganda requires understanding the ways in which crimes are misrepresented as hate crimes — and why. There are two main culprits to consider: Muslims who stage fake hate crimes and Islamist organizations that seek to exploit them.

Feds investagating Fire At Mosque Building Site in Murfreesboro, Tenn.:

 

Remember the 'Not welcome' sign on the future mosque building site earlier this year in Murfreesboro?  There were also protests and counter-protests among the 207 give or take churches of various faiths in this Tennessee town, as seen in the video below, demonstrating over the building of this mosque and showing their religious freedoms and other amendment rights.  Now the Feds are investigating this second act of vandalism.

A spokesman for federal arson investigators said Sunday a fire that damaged construction equipment at the site of an Islamic center in suburban Nashville remained under investigation.  Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives spokesman Eric Kehn said his department was working with the FBI and the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office to determine what happened at the site early Saturday morning.

"At this point, it's still an onging investigation," Kehn said. He declined to characterize the fire, which a spokeswoman for the center said appeared to have been set by someone who doused construction equipment with gasoline then set at least one truck ablaze. Camie Ayash told the Daily News Journal the fire has frightened Muslims, who have been part of the community for decades.

"Everyone in our community no longer feels safe," Ayash said. "To set a fire that could have blown up equipment and, God forbid, spread and caused damage to the neighbors there ... When (officials) called me this morning, I started crying."more

Anyone that has been convicted of driving under the influence knows it's more then desk duty.

A longtime friend and a resident of Indiana where this crime took place  asked me to write something about it due to the fact he was in complete outrage of the special treatment officer David Bisard received.

My friend from Indiana has one DUI on his record.  He served 2 days in jail and lost driving privileges and his license for 15 months and he didn't register anywhere near this.

This also reminds me of Two lifetime friends that where pulled over, did the walk of shame, and blew into the Breathalyzer.(they both blew clean and both were charged, fined, served jail time and lost driving privileges. 

After much thought and finding a few other articles to compare this to, I will.

#1 An investigation into a fatal crash involving officer David Bisard.
Motorcyclist Eric Wells, 30, died in the Aug. 6 crash at 56th Street and Brendon Way South Drive on the city's Northeastside. Two other riders, Mary Mills, 47, and Kurt Weekly, 44, remain hospitalized.Police officials initially did not suspect Bisard was drunk, but testing of a blood sample drawn two hours after the crash showed he had a blood-alcohol content of 0.19, more than twice the level at which a driver is considered intoxicated in Indiana.  However, prosecutors have dismissed drunken-driving charges against Bisard because a medical assistant who lacked proper certification drew his blood.Bisard, who has been suspended pending termination,
Bisard faces one count of reckless homicide and two counts of criminal recklessness. Prosecutors dropped all DUI-related charges.

An Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department SWAT team officer, involved in what's being called the cover-up of a hit-and-run crash with his patrol car, learned Wednesday he could lose his job.
An internal affairs investigation found that Elam damaged property June 15 when his take-home car was in an accident at an undetermined location, said Lt. Jeff Duhamell, an IMPD spokesman. Elam left the accident without exchanging information with others involved, as required by state law.  The investigation also found Elam took his car to a private auto repair shop instead of the city's maintenance garage and had it repaired with after-market parts, both actions that violated IMPD policies and procedures.No accident report was filed, so it was unclear what the officer hit or whether anyone was injured; police declined to provide more specifics. Also, earlier news reports about the crash said Elam had been drinking alcohol, but Duhamell said the internal investigation made no reference to that.  The internal affairs investigation has been handed to the prosecutor for a criminal investigation. A spokeswoman for Marion County Prosecutor Carl Brizzi has said he can't comment on a pending grand jury investigation.




Elam had been assigned to desk duty until his suspension without pay Wednesday. The 17-year veteran, who was based in the Downtown district, is at least the eighth IMPD cop to face a firing recommendation since Paul Ciesielski became the chief Feb. 22.

#3  Florida man gets 10 years for hate crime
[I know Mr. Cosby wasn't drunk, in anything I've found, just using as an example]
A Port Orange man who slammed his car into a bicyclist then shouted racial slurs at her has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after being convicted of a hate crime.  A Volusia County judge sentenced 58-year-old Thomas Cosby, who is white, on Thursday. He was convicted last month of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and battery evidencing prejudice. He had faced up to 35 years in prison.

Authorities say Cosby veered his car off the road in 2008 to strike then-25-year-old Nekedia Cato, then yelled derogatory names at the black woman. Prosectors say its rare to pursue assault charges as hate crimes because it's difficult to prove the defendant's motivation.

#4 Firefighter Convicted Of Killing Dogs Back In Court
David Santuomo was found guilty of animal cruelty and other charges, after admitting to killing the dogs to avoid paying boarding costs while he took a cruise with his girlfriend.
The bodies of the dogs were found behind a Columbus fire station.  At his sentencing for those charges, a judge ordered Santuomo to perform 200 hours of community service and stop drinking. He still has not completed the community service and was arrested for drunk driving,
This time, he will spend 30 days in jail.

Is It Science Or Are They Drawing Out The Big Guns?
