On September 11, 2010 a man holding a Koran just feet away from Ground
Zero and Park51, set fire to its pages. “If they can burn American
flags, I can burn the Koran,” he shouted. The media, pedestrians, and
other New Yorkers stood stunned to witness this act on such a sacred
day.
