Former model offers fake tans and makeovers for toddlers

Former model Michelle Devine offers the service along with manicures, pedicures, facials and make-up and hair treatments in Brentwood.
The 28-year-old, from nearby Romford, had The Only Way Is Essex star Mick Norcross – dad of Sugar Hut nightclub owner Kirk – at the launch of her Trendy Monkeys salon last Saturday.
She admitted that if pressed by a parent she would even treat a child as young as one. Michelle said: “I cannot see the problem.”
But former topless and lingerie model Michelle has opened her salon just days before a Government report which blasted society’s increased sexualisation of children.
Showcasing her range of beauty services on her own three-year-old daughter Bailey Papworth, Michelle said: “Bailey loves it, look how happy she is.”
Tiny Bailey had her nails painted, feet scrubbed, fake tattoos put on, hair sprayed pink, lip gloss, eye liner and glitter blusher plastered over her face. Yet Michelle – who also has five-year-old Maddison – said: “I don’t think letting our children be princesses for the day is sexualisation. I’m just a mum who saw something my own daughters will like. It’s a niche market.
To tackle kids growing up too early, raunchy videos from stars like Rihanna will be given film-style ratings. The Sun also revealed how stores still sell provocative clothing aimed at young girls.
The customers at Michelle’s salon perch on a throne-like chair, sit under a glittery pink dryer or at a nail bar. But they can also use a chaise longue.
Michelle does a “Princess Party” for six girls costing £300. She has 15 bookings. She added: “If someone wanted their daughter sprayed, if they were really young I would probably try to talk them out of it, but who am I to tell another parent.”More at Source
