Life Off the Grid: How to Have a Home – With No Payments and No Utility Bills


Let’s face it – not the snappiest residence in the world.
Perhaps that’s the whole idea…
One vid shows the exterior of the cabin, (this cabin is located in Utah) and the solar panels that provide all his electricity.
The other vid shows the inside, the loft and office, dining and kitchen.
He pays no mortgage and no utilities. Electricity is solar, water is from a well he drilled himself. (No idea what he does with sewage, he doesn’t say.)
His property taxes are $170 a year.More at Source

Looks very good but it is not genuinely practical for a busy family. Kitchen countertops chip and break. Also grout lines tend to appear bad right after a although unless you plan on cleaning it truly excellent just about every day.
