REVERE, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A law enforcement source tells Fox 25 that a large police presence at a home in Revere is related to the Boston Marathon bombings.
The source said that a suspicious driver was pulled over by Revere police after driving past the State Police barracks a number of times.
The driver reportedly had a “nervous demeanor.”
The driver then led police, as well as the FBI, to a home in the area of Ocean Avenue and Beach Street.
CNN’s Natl Security Analyst Warns Of “Right-Wing Extremists” Behind Boston Bombings
Before any information was available that might indicate who is responsible for the horrific Boston Marathon bombings, Esquire’s Charles P. Pierce cautioned readers against “jumping to conclusions” and blaming the attack on “foreign terrorism.”
However, he was compelled to remind people that Monday is the “official Patriots Day holiday” in Massachusetts, celebrating the Battles at Lexington and Concord. He also pointed out that April 19, the actual date of the battles, is connected to Oklahoma City bomber Tim McVeigh, who apparently considered himself a “waterer of the tree of liberty and the like,” according to Pierce.
“I’ll bet good money it’s a right-wing nutjob. Today is April 15, Boston Harbor was where the original Tea Party took place and the on-going gun-safety legislation makes it the mostly likely culprit,” commenter Linda Ginsburg wrote.
Appearing on ABC Monday, former FBI agent Brad Garrett said it wouldn’t surprise him if the suspected bombing was conducted by a domestic extremist group trying to make a statement. He said there have been a number of “domestic extremist events” carried out from the dates April 15-20, including the Oklahoma City bombing, Columbine and Virginia Tech.
He went on to say that a “neo Nazi or a patriot group” are not going to come forward immediately to claim responsibility. He also said it might be an individual not a group behind the explosions. MORE
U.S. Arrests Saudi Student in Bomb Plot
Posted on 15 April, 2013 by Amy
A 20-year-old Saudi Arabian student living in Texas has been arrested by federal agents, who charged him with planning to build bombs for terror attacks in the United States, the Justice Department announced Thursday.
According to an affidavit filed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the student, Khalid Ali-M Aldawsari, indicated in online research and in a journal that he was considering attacking the Dallas residence of former President George W. Bush as well as hydroelectric dams, nuclear power plants, nightclubs and the homes of soldiers who were formerly stationed at the Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq.
Mr. Aldawsari, a business major at South Plains College in Lubbock, Tex., is in the United States legally on a student visa, the bureau said. He came to the government’s attention on Feb. 1, when a North Carolina supply company reported that he had tried to order five liters of a chemical that can be used to make an explosive.
A subsequent investigation found that he had already obtained large supplies of the other two chemicals needed for the explosive compound — trinitrophenol or TNP — in December, court documents said. MORE
But wait a second, I thought that Khalid was arrested in 2011 and sentenced to life?
Saudi gets life sentence over US bombing plot |
Khalid Ali-M Aldawsari sentenced to life in jail for plotting attacks on ex-president George W Bush and other targets.

A Saudi national has been sentenced to life in prison for plotting attacks on the Texas home of former US president George W Bush, nuclear plants, and other targets, prosecutors have said.
Khalid Ali-M Aldawsari, 22, was arrested last year after a chemical supplier became suspicious when he tried to order concentrated phenol, a toxic chemical that has legitimate uses but is also a powerful bomb-making tool.
The FBI found journal entries and emails in which he wrote about how he sought a scholarship to a Texas university in order to be able to “target the infidel Americans” and detailed how he would carry out “Jihad”.
One email he sent himself with the title “targets” contained the names and home addresses of three members of the US military who had been stationed at Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq.
Another, titled “Tyrant’s House,” listed Bush’s address in Dallas.
The FBI also found evidence that Aldawsari was looking into using dolls to conceal explosives, targeting a nightclub with a backpack bomb and had emailed himself instructions on how to convert a mobile phone into a remote detonator and how to booby-trap a vehicle using household items.
Aldawsari was lawfully admitted to the US on a student visa in 2008 and was enrolled at South Plains College near Lubbock, Texas at the time of his 2011 arrest. MORE

Reuters news agency on Tuesday reported that two bombs ripped through the crowd at the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Monday, killing three people, causing several amputations and injuring more than 100 in what a White House official said would be handled as an “act of terror.”
It was the worst bombing on US soil since security was tightened after the attacks of September 11, 2001, and President Barack Obama promised to hunt down whoever was responsible for the attack on a day when tens of thousands of spectators packed the streets to watch the world-famous race.
Obama II said the marathon explosions would be handled as an “act of terror.”
No one has been arrested and the White House official said it would have to be determined whether the attack came from a foreign or domestic source.MORE
