The Fruition of ‘Silent Spring’
I was aware that there are 80,000 chemicals being used today with 2,000 new ones introduced by industry each year into the environment, but this video helps emphasize the point. No long-term testing has been done for the health and environmental effects of these manmade chemicals.
Mercury OverloadAnd we all know there is a limit on seafood consumption due to mercury poisoning, but I did not grasp how deep the problem was until I read this article today. Looks like humans have been overloading the environment with the stuff long before the industrial revolution. Click on the snippet to go to the full article: >>more<<
ENVIRONMENTAL TOXINS AFFECT DEVELOPING FETUS
A study conducted by researchers based at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health has shown that when pregnant mothers-to-be are exposed to high levels of common environmental toxins it stimulates more frequent energetic spurts of motor activity in the developing fetus. Some chemical toxins are also linked to fewer changes in fetal heart rate, which typically correspond to fetal activity. The study, which was recently published in the Journal of Exposure Science and Environmental Epidemiology, found traces of organochlorines, including PCBs, DDT, and other toxic pesticide chemicals that were banned over 30 years ago and are no longer in use, at detectable levels in all the pregnant women that took part in the study.“Both fetal motor activity and heart rate reveal how the fetus is maturing and give us a way to evaluate how exposures may be affecting the developing nervous system. Most studies of environmental contaminants and child development wait until children are much older to evaluate effects of things the mother may have been exposed to during pregnancy; here we have observed effects in utero,” explains Janet DiPietro, Associate Dean for Research at the Bloomberg School of Public Health, and lead author of the study.
Mercury, Vaccines, and Autism
Then they expect/advise one to giving your baby vacanations with Mercury in them…… Funny when an old thermometer breaks say at a thrift store, they close the whole thing down and throw away the items, or they close down a county court house for months to get any potential mercury containments out of the building…….. Just saying shera~
Mercury Releases and Spills
from the US EPA
- storing and handling responsibly products that contain mercury;
- following our tips when cleaning up mercury spills; and
- recycling or otherwise properly disposing of products that contain mercury.
“Thimerosal, used as a preservative, is favored by the pharmaceutical industry because it is cheap and enables the industry to keep making vaccines in old and dirty factories,” explained Dr. Mark Geier, M.D., Ph.D., to the African Delegation of the UN Treaty recently. “Sadly, Thimerosal also causes developmental problems, mental retardation and autism in mercury-sensitive children. Boys are more susceptible to mercury poisoning than girls, because testosterone amplifies the toxicity of this poison.”Be sure to read Bolen’s full report on the potential mercury ban here:
http://www.bolenreport.com/Mark%20Geier/vaccine%20industry%20panic.htmBanning mercury would implode pharmaceutical industry, says expert
Only an insane minority is still of the persuasion that Thimerosal belongs in any vaccines, as studies linking the chemical to autism, brain damage, and other conditions number in the hundreds (http://www.autismtreatmentclinics.com/Research.html). Nevertheless, it is still added to batch flu vaccinations, for instance, and in vaccines distributed to countries with fewer safety regulations as they pertain to childhood medicines.
Will someone please tell me what is good about this? DOE, Absolutely NOTHING! Also, why do other states, have to drag their waste water mess and drill or dump it into other states lands, waterways if it is so safe?
Fracking Our Food Supply
Pay attention, them doing this same thing 30 something years ago is leading to more and more damages as told in articles above. shera~
DOE study: Fracking chemicals didn’t taint water
‘Drilling fluids tagged with unique markers were injected more than 8,000 feet below the surface but were not detected in a monitoring zone 3,000 feet higher. That means the potentially dangerous substances stayed about a mile away from drinking water supplies.’
