translated from French to English

At the end of the nineteenth century, Europe is an incredible fever initiation. Hermetic orders and secret societies flourish everywhere. In England, a society devoted to the occult and magic includes many writers. Many of the "old" Golden Dawn become famous.
Has there been any relationship between this secret society and the first companions of Hitler?

AIDS-Like Disease Mysteriously Appears Where Merck Conducted Vaccine Trials

(No Ratings Yet)

In Southeast Asia, specifically Thailand, an AIDS-like “virus” has been found in people that are not infected with HIV. Those infected have their immune-system compromised. Health officials say that this new AIDS “virus” is not contagious, which begs the question: how did these people come down with this new strain of AIDS?This infection does not spread the same as AIDS does, according to Dr. Sarah Browne, scientist with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Browne led the team of researchers in Thailand and Taiwan where the disease made its first appearance. The disease appears to be directed at people of Asian descent; even those living in the US. Confederate flag may be removed from ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ General Lee toys

Report: Confederate flag may be removed from ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ General Lee toys
The 1969 Dodge Charger from “The Dukes of Hazzard,” known to the world as the General Lee, prominently features the Confederate flag on its roof in the popular 1970s-1980s TV show. Some reports now say the flag will be removed from certain toy versions of the car, and at least one former “Dukes” cast member tells TODAY he’s furious. No clarification was offered on whether products other than die-cast versions of the car would be altered. Although the report still hasn’t been confirmed,  HobbyTalk readers had no trouble believing it. Wrote one, “Not surprising. They have been removing the image from the model boxes for years. I have one that was a giveaway from the Kansas City Royals that has the Royals logo on the trunk and no roof flag.” Another wrote, “Was at a Hobby Lobby today. In the model kit section was a 1/25th scale General Lee … without the Confederate flag on the roof!!! It looked strange, to s…

Rachel Corrie: Court rules Israel not at fault for death

An Israeli court has ruled that the state of Israel was not at fault for the death of US activist Rachel Corrie, who was killed in the Gaza Strip by an Israeli army bulldozer in 2003. Ms Corrie’s family had brought a civil claim for negligence against the Israeli ministry of defence.

The judge said the 23-year-old’s death was a “regrettable accident” and that the state was not responsible. She had been trying to stop Palestinian homes being pulled down in Gaza. Judge Oded Gershon, presiding at the Haifa District Court, said Ms Corrie had been protecting terrorists in a designated combat zone. He said the bulldozer driver had not seen her, adding the soldiers had done their utmost to keep people away from the site. “She [Corrie] did not distance herself from the area, as any thinking person would have done.” He ruled the state of Israel did not have to pay any damages. The Corries had requested a symbolic $1 in damages and legal expenses. They had accused Israel of intentionally and un…

Human Rights Groups Unite to Support Non-Judicial Methods to Combat Racist Hate Speech

New York City – Today, as the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination gathers in Geneva to host a discussion on racist hate speech, Human Rights First and a number of other organizations have issued a joint statement that details the importance of fighting hatred in the public discourse through non-legal methods. The statement notes that “the debate over how to regulate hate speech is a distraction from immediate, effective and practical non-legal options for addressing racist hate speech.” “There is a trend to constantly identify new legal means to fight hatred, but instead states should assess how to make existing commitments more effective,” said Human Rights First’s Joelle Fiss. “This discussion is an important opportunity for states and those with a shared interest in ending racist hate speech to come together and access best practices moving forward.” The committee’s agenda today includes a focus on the concept of racist hate speech and its evolution o…

Defendant; George Thomas in Christian-Newsom case seeks U.S. Supreme Court review

Defense attorneys Tom Dillard and Stephen Ross Johnson are asking the U.S. Supreme Court to hear an appeal on behalf of their client, George Thomas, to decide whether a doped-up judge can deliver a constitutionally sound trial. Thomas is one of four defendants convicted in the January 2007 torture-slayings of Channon Christian, 21, and Christopher Newsom, 23. Those convictions were upended last year after a Tennessee Bureau of Investigation probe revealed the judge who presided over their trials — Knox County Criminal Court Judge Richard Baumgartner — was himself a criminal, doctor shopping for pills, using a felon on probation in his court to get pills and using a graduate of the Drug Court program he helped found for both sex and pills. A News Sentinel investigation also showed Baumgartner was a longtime alcoholic with a history of failed rehabilitation efforts who also demanded pills from employees. Baumgartner, spared jail on a state case and allowed to keep his state pension, no…

Tattoo infections in U.S. linked to contaminated ink

Mycobacterium chelonae is a rapidly growing mycobacterium, that is found all throughout the environment including sewage and tap water. It can occasionally cause opportunistic infections of humans.
- Contaminated tattoo ink caused at least 22 skin and soft tissue infections last fall in four U.S. states, according to an analysis released on Wednesday. The infections prompted an investigation by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that uncovered 22 confirmed cases, 4 probable cases and 27 possible cases of contamination-related infections in New York, Washington, Iowa and Colorado. Products from four companies were implicated during the probe. None of the companies is identified in a CDC report, released in conjunction with a New England Journal of Medicine study of the New York cases. “People who get tattoos must be made aware of this risk and seek medical attention” if they get a rash or other abnormalities at the site, according to a commentary in the journal from a team…

“Let’s Build a Goddamn Tesla Museum,”

(CNN)– At the dawn of the 20th century, Nikola Tesla wanted to save the world from fuel dependency. Now, an Internet cartoonist wants to save Tesla’s last remaining laboratory as a tribute to the futurist inventor.
The structure, a 94-by-94-foot building, was the location where Tesla hoped to develop wireless communications and clean, free energy for everyone in the early 1900s. He moved his operation to the Wardenclyffe Tower in Shoreham, New York, in 1902 — so named because of a 187-foot tower rising from the ground (as well as being sunk 120 feet below it) that was to be one of the great transmitters for his wireless energy dream. The facility was lost a few years later due to debts Tesla racked up, and the huge tower was demolished in 1917. The site would ultimately become a Superfund location because of silver and cadmium toxicity in the ground after a photographic film company used it for nearly 48 years. It has now been cleaned up and is no longer harmful.
Tesla died penniless and…

The UN Refugee Agency; Campaign under way to increase refugee resettlement places in Europe

Most refugees are resettled in the US, Canada and Australia, but the EU will help raise places in Europe to 20,000 by 2020
The large number of asylum seekers who independently make their way to Europe has reduced support for resettlement there, said Torsten Moritz, chief executive of the Churches’ Commission for Migrants in Europe, which is leading a campaign to increase the number of refugee resettlement places available in the EU to 20,000 by the year 2020. “The perception is Europe does asylum and the US does resettlement,” he said. “We’re saying: we can do more. Europe is one of the richest regions, despite the [economic] crisis, and we’re doing very little.” The EU council recently agreed to promote a policy of increased resettlement by offering co-ordinated support and financial incentives to member states that accept refugees. “Most of the countries would be keen to get some of the EU funding, but it’s a completely voluntary thing; it’s nothing the EU can enforce,” said Mortiz. “…

U.S. Rep. Todd Akin; ‘legitimate rape’ rarely results in pregnancy. Seems like many through out the years have said the same; as seen in ‘The Official Guide to Legitimate Rape’

HOW MANY PREGNANCIES ARE CAUSED BY RAPE? A pregnancy conceived by forcible rape would probably head the list as the most often unwanted, but it is such an unlikely event that it is not really relevant to an understanding of the reasons why women define certain pregnancies as unwanted.                                                                                     Pro-abortion writer N. Lee.[5] Introduction. From an ethical and logical standpoint, the number of pregnancies caused by rape and incest in this country is an issue that simply is not relevant to the moral case against these exceptions. Either all unborn babies are worth saving, or none of them are.
(CNN) – U.S. Rep. Todd Akin, who won Missouri’s GOP Senate primary earlier this month and will face incumbent Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill in November’s general election, said Sunday that he misspoke when he claimed “legitimate rape” rarely resulted in pregnancy. “First of all, from what I understand from doctors, that’s really…
