Canton —Chai Jewish Center, 580 Washington St., Canton, will hold “An Evening of Remembrance,” with Joanne Caras, author of the “Holocaust Survivor Cookbook,” Sunday, March 10, from 5-7 p.m. Caras will discuss the story of how the cookbooks were created, and relate several stories from the cookbook.The cookbooks are a collection of recipes and stories from more than 240 Holocaust survivors.Caras has appeared on national TV and radio in the U.S., Canada and Israel, and has presented her book all over the world.Cost is $10.Coffee, tea and desserts from the cookbook will be served.Read more:
