2,000-Year-Old Warrior Grave & Spears Unearthed

COLCHESTER, ENGLAND—A warrior’s gravecontaining five spears was discovered at a site soon to be home to a new golf clubhouse. According to Philip Crummy of the Colchester Archaeological Trust, the warrior was a member of the Catuvellauni tribe. The grave dates to the time of the Roman conquest of Britain.
