Ohio Invests $3M In Transportation For Elderly

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio is giving out more than $3 million to help local communities transport elderly and disabled Ohioans.
The Ohio Department of Transportation says the money will be used to buy new vehicles and equipment.
State officials say the new equipment will help provide access to medical appointments, employment, grocery shopping, banking and other services.
More than 63 nonprofit agencies and organizations across 36 different counties in Ohio are receiving the funds.
The finance director for Quadco Rehabilitation Center in Williams County says the money is essential to that program. Terry Fruth says the program serves 240 individuals across four different counties in northwest Ohio.
He says the money will allow the center to buy four new vehicles
WHAT! You can't be fricking serious. I know of no one on earth, aside from someone riding first class who is elected into the government or some spoiled rich person (actor, celebrity, etc) that would spend that kind of money for transportation and in how many lifetimes?
It's not like the elderly are being taken to their banks, in Florida or a store/job on the West Coast of the USA from Ohio daily......
