Craig Cobb hospitalized after hunger strike

North Dakota white supremacist Craig Cobb has been taken from jail to a hospital after refusing to eat while in custody. According to KXNE News, Cobb has been in custody for nine days after he and another man menaced neighbors and threatened them with guns.
Cobb came to national attention earlier this year for wanting to transform the town of Leith, North Dakota into a racist enclave, but was foiled by zoning laws.
He then went on national television and found out that he is, in fact, of mixed Caucasian and African-American descent. In the wake of that humiliating episode he returned to his home in North Dakota and found that it had been defaced with racist graffiti.
After that, a dispute with members of the Leith city council and other townspeople escalated to the point that Cobb and fellow neo-Nazi Kynan Dutton armed themselves with rifles and followed the other residents around in an attempt to terrorize and intimidate them. Both men were arrested on Saturday, Nov. 16.
Since then, Cobb has refused to eat, claiming he is engaging in an exercise in spiritual enlightenment that will culminate in his death. When jail personnel became concerned about his health, Cobb was taken to a clinic in Beulah, ND. The clinicians referred him to the state hospital.  >>more from Raw Story<<
